Tarot is more than a deck of cards. It is an infinite amount of stories, lessons and mysteries housed in the consciousness of our universe. Tarot is accessible and available to each of us as a friend, a guide, a tool, a map of consciousness, and beyond to help us connect with our deeper selves.  This class teaches the seeker how to unlock the tarot door and walk through and explore the mysteries of life.

Join Samantha Goldberg Blackthorn for this three-week immersive online introduction designed as a gateway into our 40-week Tarot Certificate Program or as a stand alone course. Samantha is a professional tarot reader and teacher with decades of experience working with the cards as divination, spiritual text, and symbolic system. Her approach bridges traditional symbolism, numerology, comparative mystic arts, ritual practice, and lived intuitive experience. She teaches tarot as a living system meant to be studied, practiced, and embodied.

This three-week online course is an immersive and interactive introduction designed as a gateway into our full 40-week Tarot Certificate Program (Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, Court Cards, and Synthesis). Whether you are brand new to tarot or seeking a stronger foundation before diving deeper, this course will orient you to the roots, structure, and living current of the cards.

Together we will explore:

•  The history of tarot * Tang dynasty, playing cards to esoteric system
• The many layers of tarot * Connection to self, symbols, comparative mysticism, art, numerology, and tree of life
• The anatomy of the deck * Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, suits, elements, and court structure
• Reading for others * The ethics and mechanics of offering readings (Start practicing during this course!)
• The lore of tarot * symbolism, mythic threads, hidden correspondences, and evolving tradition

This is an active lecture series and is designed to encourage attendance and participation 
Each class is interactive and experiential.

• Develop a foundational understanding of tarot history and structure
• Learn the anatomy of the deck, including Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, suits, elements, and courts
• Understand how symbolism, numerology, and elemental correspondences layer meaning
• Gain practical experience reading and interpreting cards with confidence

Each session includes guided discussion, live demonstration, and practical exercises. Participants are encouraged to have a Rider-Waite-Smith–based deck for class.

We do not offer refunds. If you choose to cancel one week before or one week after, you may use 50% of the fund for future classes.
