Tarot Court Cards Journey: A Five-Week Immersive Exploration

Course Overview:
Embark on a captivating exploration of the Tarot Court Cards in this five-week series, part of our comprehensive 20-week Tarot Certification Program. This course will take you through the personalities and lessons embodied by each of the 16 court cards. You’ll learn how these characters represent different aspects of personality and situation, offering valuable insights during readings. Whether in person at Ace of Cups or virtually, this course will deepen your understanding and enhance your Tarot practice.
Materials needed: A Rider Waite tarot deck, a journal, Ace of Cups Tarot Journal (provided by us with cost of tuition)
Prerequisite:
Completion of Ace of Cups’ Introduction to Tarot course, offered monthly, email to set up your one on one class. This is a 1.5 hour course taught by Samantha.
Week 1: Introduction to the Court Cards
Begin your exploration of the Court Cards, the dynamic personalities of the Tarot deck. We’ll discuss their structure within the suits, their archetypal roles, and how they reflect real-life people, situations, and energies. This foundational week will prepare you to understand their significance and weave them into meaningful readings.
Week 2: Pages – The Messengers
Step into the world of the Pages, symbols of curiosity, potential, and new beginnings. Often seen as students or messengers, Pages embody youthful energy and the spark of inspiration. You’ll learn how their appearance in a reading highlights opportunities for growth, exploration, and the early stages of development within their suit.
Week 3: Knights – The Action Takers
Explore the dynamic and determined energy of the Knights, who bring movement, ambition, and focused drive. Representing the pursuit of goals and the embodiment of action, each Knight carries a unique approach to progress. This week, we’ll examine how their momentum influences readings and the ways they inspire us to act decisively.
Week 4: Queens – The Nurturers
Delve into the nurturing and intuitive essence of the Queens. Representing maturity, inner strength, and emotional depth, the Queens guide us toward understanding the more subtle and compassionate aspects of their suits. This week, we’ll explore how they help us connect with our inner wisdom and bring harmony to our readings.
Week 5: Kings – The Leaders
Conclude with the Kings, the figures of authority, mastery, and leadership. As the culmination of their suits, the Kings embody decisiveness, control, and a refined understanding of their element. We’ll examine how they influence readings, bring closure, and offer guidance for taking charge in various aspects of life.
Throughout the course, students will engage in discussions, practical exercises, and practice readings to fully integrate their understanding of the Court Cards into their Tarot practice.
